Tighnabruaich Gallery lies in the heart of the village of Tighnabruaich, on Argyll’s ‘Secret Coast’, and is preparing for its relaunch with an opening show of art stemming from its programme of workshops for resident artists, already underway, led by four leading established artists: printmaker Ade Adesina, painters Dale Bissland, Denise Findlay and Lewis MacKenzie, with guest mentors including David and Robert Mach.

Led by gallery owner Ross Poole, the residency programme represents a new artist-focused model of gallery programming, and is the inaugural project by Scottish Contemporary Collective – a three-year artist development programme supporting four selected Scottish artists: Eva Hewitt (Glasgow School of Art), Innes MacLellan (Gray’s School of Art), Vlada Popescu (Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design) and Kirstin Mackinnon (Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design).
