The Silver & Objets de Vertu auction at Edinburgh sale room Lyon & Turnbull opens with a collection of 19th and early 20th-century Indian silver, showcasing rare pieces from various regions alongside works by renowned makers such as Hamilton & Co. of Calcutta. Other highlights include an 18ct gold commemorative dish marking the late Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh’s silver wedding anniversary, a Belgian coffee pot and exceptional silver pieces by leading makers. There is also a collection of seals and coins.

The Jewellery sale features modern, vintage and antique designer pieces by Tiffany & Co, FOPE and Faberge. Highlights include a mid-century ruby and diamond floral brooch, a 1920s Moi-et-Toi two-stone diamond ring and a selection of modern diamond and gemstone pieces, including a pink and colourless diamond necklace. There is also a beautiful collection of luxury handbags and accessories, includng pieces by Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.
