Graystone Gallery in Edinburgh is showing Echoes & Impressions – a group show featuring Balbinder Broadbent, Mary McDonald, Amanda Phillips, Katy Sawrey and Elaine Speirs, showcasing each artist at their best, turning acute observations into beautiful loose and structural forms.

Emotive, abstract paintings in bold colours and layered textures are juxtaposed with expressive, fluid brushwork and atmospheric landscapes. Common to each of these artists is the exploration of identity and emotion through their visual language, delving into personal and collective experiences, and creating art resonating with vulnerability, memory, and sense of place.
Additionally, the Gallery is mounting an exhibition at Edinburgh’s Kimpton Hotel (Charlotte Square, 9th June – 10th August), featuring Ellis O’Connor and Kerry Souter, who combine landscape and abstract language to beautiful effect.
Also on show in the Gallery is a selection of ceramics and glassware from Adrian Bates, Adam Frew, Sue Mundy, Arran Ross, and Janene Waudby.
It supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
