Glasgow Print Studio is launching its exhibition Start With Something: Contemporary Abstraction, which brings together a diverse array of contemporary artists, each looking at facets of abstraction in printmaking.

The works featured spring from a rich spectrum of influences, including psychogeography, urbanism, colour theory, and a deep, hands-on experimentation with materials and form, exploring not only abstraction but also the printmaking technique itself, inviting new ways of seeing and interpreting the world.

The Studio is a non-profit organisation with charitable status, so the sale of artworks directly supports artists, contributing to its continued work as a champion of fine-art printmaking; it supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
