Graystone Gallery in Edinburgh is showing a solo show by Kerry Souter. Kerry’s textured mixed-media paintings reflect a deep connection to the Scottish coast, using abstract forms to mirror natural cycles.
In this show, she is joined by the Gallery’s featured artist Catherine Sargeant, who combines text and image, transforming language through painting, printmaking, and altered books to evoke shifting meanings.
Time & Tide‘s private view is 6-8pm on Thursday 8th May, giving visitors a chance to meet the artists and see the artworks before they go on general display: if interested, email Gallery manager Lesley Briggs.

On show with Kerry and Catherine, the Gallery is showing a selection of beautiful ceramics and glassware by Adrian Bates, Judith Davies, Jo Gifford, Alison Jardine, and Janene Waudby.
The Gallery supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
