Titled Making Waves; Breaking Ground, it features works by eleven contemporary Scotland-based and international artists, selected for their innovative explorations of nature, with a particular focus on the elements of earth or water through painting and photography. Traditional concepts of landscape art are upended in the exhibition, reinforcing the urgency to rethink our relationship with the land and the evolving human connection to the natural world, at a time of climate emergency.
