Auction house Lyon & Turnbull has a full programme of auctions over June and stretching into July and August, starting on 3rd June with Watches, then on 4th June, followed by its popular Jewellery sale, featuring a curated selection of modern, vintage and antique pieces.

Their flagship Scottish Paintings & Sculpture auction, celebrating the best in Scottish art from the 18th to the 20th centuries, takes place on 5th June, with a special Joan Eardley collection, comprising an early Arran work, pastels from a rediscovered Glasgow sketchbook, and a significant Catterline oil produced in her final years. The Scottish Colourists are represented by innovative works by F C B Cadell, S J Peploe and G L Hunter.
