Following its highly successful editions over the last four years (see Artmag.co.uk’s review of last year’s Show), Big Art Show is set to be staged at its new Paisley home at 9-11 Causeyside Street. Again organised by Outspoken Arts Scotland the Show is one of Scotland’s largest open-entry art exhibitions, with more than 1,500 pieces on show last year.
The call for entries began in February, and lasts until 31st May. Work accepted includes painting, drawing, photography, textiles, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, installation art, digital, film, video and sound. Prizes are awarded. The show in 2025 will run for three months, with most work for sale; a full-colour souvenir catalogue will be produced, and upwards of 15,000 visitors are expected.
