Samuel Peploe, John Duncan Fergusson, Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell and George Leslie Hunter formed a group of artists who played a pivotal part in the development of the modern art movement in Scotland. As individual artists, they responded to the tumultuous changes in art in the first half of the 20th century. and today their role is internationally recognised.

This beautifully illustrated, handy-sized hardback book offers fresh perspectives on the Scottish Colourists and offers insight into the Scottish Gallery’s own association with the artists. Now in its second edition, the book is limited to 450 copies and is available for £14.95 + p&p here.
